Larson-Juhl, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway and leader in the custom picture framing industry seeks a Warehouse Team Member in its West Caldwell, NJ Distribution Center. This person`s role would be primarily in our cutting and assembly departments, as well as acting as a back-up delivery driver on occasion. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Primary responsibility in the Chop/Join Department of the warehouse and must assist in other areas of the distribution center. • Main duties include inspecting moulding, mitre cutting the moulding with state-of-the-art equipment, and joining frames together. • Chop - QA/inspect orders for shipping. • Maintain clean work area. • Back-Up delivery duties involve driving a 20-foot box truck and delivering products to customers, while collecting COD`s.
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS • Warehouse/production and/or delivery experience a plus. • Ability to perform multiple tasks. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Can read and recognize product variations. • Valid driver’s license and good driving record. • Ability to interpret maps; good mechanical abilities. • High School diploma or GED desired.
